ICYM, which was officiated in 1997 has victoriously produced many graduates in numerous fields. As one of the higher learning institutions (IPT) in Malaysia, ICYM is extremely committed and actively involved in generating excellent graduates to meet the demands of the industries as well as to contribute to the positive growth of the country’s economy.

In ICYM, we pledge that all the academic programmes offered adhere to the quality and standard stipulated by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and Ministry of Higher Education (KPT).

Malaysian education system today has advanced from the traditional method which is classroom-based learning to work-based learning. In line with this, ICYM has proactively ventured and incorporated Work-based Learning (WBL) into the study programmes offered in ICYM.

Through WBL, the nature of learning and gaining knowledge are immersed into real-life work experience. Hence, ICYM students have extra added values of real-life working experience that is the combination of two years of classroom-based learning and one year of learning and working in the industry.

ICYM has collaborated and signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with more than thirty selected companies from diverse sectors like hotels, factories, broadcasting and education. These sectors serve as an industrial platform to ensure the smooth sailing journey and the success of WBL programme

Praise to Allah, the Almighty, this year Public Service Department (JPA) has offered B40 2021 Scholarship Programme for the SPM leavers to pursue their studies in ICYM. This scholarship is offered for Diploma in Animation Technology, Diploma in Media Technology and Diploma in Multimedia Technology programmes. These programmes are offered by School of Media Technology and Arts. (SMART)
